Kirsi Kiviharju's brilliant playing reminds in the finale virtuoso fireworks of great pianists. The arrangements of Kalevi Kiviniemi open ears to the potentials of the organ which seems even to exceed the sounds of the orchestra.

The combination of harp and organ is rare anywhere in the world. The duo Kiviharju-Kiviniemi has however prolifically performed now for twelve years. Both artists specialize in French music and the CD Majestic reflects this French predilection. The concert music on the CD was composed during the 1700s and 1800s.The works are originally harp solos with orchestra, except the Aria by Grandjany. The orchestral parts are arranged for the organ, by Kalevi Kiviniemi, based on the Cavaillé-Coll organ style.
The CD was recorded by Mika Koivusalo in the Kerava Church in Finland.
